You don’t want to cram your entire logo into a favicon, so how do you simplify it and make it work? Simplifying Your Logo For Use as a Favicon This is a great way to give your site a seamless look, while building brand recognition. One thing that a lot of companies do, is to use a simplified version of their logo as their favicon.
It makes it easy for them to come back to your site, because they recognize your favicon. It’s great for visitors who leave a lot of browser tabs open, hopping from page to page. Kapwing will automatically work its magic and your PNG picture will be ready to download in no time! When your picture is finished processing, click “ Download” from the right side of the screen. Once you've made your logo transparent, click " Publish" in the upper right-hand corner. If the eraser tool is too large or too small, change its diameter by dragging the “ Eraser Size” button to the left or right. If you need more precise control, often around the edges of your logo or in areas of minor color gradation, select " Erase" from the right-hand menu and click & drag your cursor over the sections of your photo that you want to make transparent. Double-check the area that is selected and click " Remove Pixels" in the right-hand menu. The first thing you should do is click on a part of the background with the magic wand tool, which will automatically select a large section of the background – or, for solid-color backgrounds, the whole thing – for you to remove. Once your logo picture is fully uploaded to the Studio, click on it and select “ Erase” from the menu on the right.
If your picture is easily accessible, you can also drag & drop it into the Studio window, and it will upload automatically. Once you’re in the Studio, either select the Upload button and search in your file browser, or paste the link to the picture you want to upload. To upload your content, just go to and click Start Editing to enter the Kapwing Studio. And if you’ve saved your pictures onto your device, just make sure you know where they’re located in your file browser. All you need to do is copy the link to the photo or its webpage. You can find your logo anywhere it's being used on the internet ( Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Images, Google Drive, etc.) since Kapwing lets you easily import pictures from almost any site.
